about our founder

Hypnotic, intoxicating, and electric—Jasmin Walters, known professionally as Jazzo, is a multifaceted artist, writer, and leader whose work spans over two decades of music, dance, storytelling, and transformative leadership. A Massachusetts-born, Maryland-raised creative powerhouse, she has toured internationally with Grammy-nominated artist Bernhoft, served as a commissioned composer for projects like The Healing Project, and developed her craft as a singer, songwriter, producer, and choreographer.

Jasmin’s passion for creativity extends far beyond the stage. As a seasoned professional, she has served as the Director of Operations for Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center, where she oversaw programming that impacted over 13,000 students and 3,000 parents across multiple school systems. Her extensive experience includes developing arts education curricula, mentoring teaching artists, managing large-scale operations, and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives in both nonprofit and corporate spaces.

A committed storyteller, Jasmin brings her life experiences into her creative projects. She is the author of a biblically based workbook for single Christian women with bipolar disorder, which intertwines faith and mental health advocacy, and The Last Teens of Coral, a gripping post-apocalyptic fantasy novel exploring themes of survival, love, and faith in a world corrupted by technology. Additionally, Jasmin channels her artistic vision into a stationery line, blending her passion for design with meaningful, everyday inspiration.

Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from UMBC (Cum Laude) and studied music at Boston College. Her life’s work reflects a deep commitment to uplifting others—whether through performance, mentorship, or writing—and to creating transformative experiences that awaken inner genius and inspire resilience.
